Klara and the Sun is magnificent! I started it in a two hour flight and was irritated I had to get off, go through passport control etc, before I could read the last two pages.
It's such a good book! I couldn't quite read it in one sitting, because of work and dog-sitting, but definitely one that I read at pace. I remember reading Never Let Me Go in just a couple of days as well.
Katie, this spoke to me. I’ve had this feeling lately about what I do for fun. Not work or laundry or exercise or nagging teens…time to inject more joy in the dailiness …even on days you don’t have a poetry party 😘
Yes! The hobbies question really stumped me! I genuinely nearly wrote down 'collapsing at the dinner table and chatting with my wife' - which is definitely enjoyable, but maybe not exactly a hobby... Time to get the crocheting back out for those cosy autumn nights!
